    I have one that Max restored for me years ago. The steel was quite easy to hone, and it takes a smooth edge. Visually, I think the appeal is hit or miss, but I like it. Handling takes some getting used to, but a small, short blade is easy to maneuver.

    Oh! I do like it. It seems obvious they were well-loved. Mine is worn-down into the blade etch and yours will likely be too as you get an edge on it.

    Yea I noticed in searching last night they seem to vary tween 4/8 and 5/8.

    I saw this posted on Facebook today. It's supposed to be one of the original patent papers. Pretty darn cool thing to have.

    I'm stoked to get it cleaned up and shaving. Be nice to have the box that is cool yours has it. Patent would be nice to have!
