Finally got some tortoiseshell. And it's a Helje to boot. Oh happy day.
I love Heljes and have a handful wearing ivory but this is my first in tortoiseshell. Ain't she pretty?

A couple of other recent acquisitions too- I found the strop at an antique store just today actually. It's in great condition. The others are recent auction wins. The Schick Repeater is in far better condition than I thought it would be. It's near mint. Pretty happy with my new goodies.

Reload the repeater with modern blades. Enjoy the shaves...but...watch the corners. They took a few more letter models before adding blade corner stops.

PS. Nice haul!

I must mention that I am indebted to goldragon for pointing me in the direction of this razor. It was mentioned that my MK31 was the only Helje I'd seen with Sweden stamped on the blade face and goldragon being the benevolent, all-seeing, all-knowing dude that he is let me know of the BK36 for sale. I had to sell a big Fili 14 to get it but I have zero regrets. Thanks buddy.
