Default Gillette Safety Razors, Let'm Roll !!

    Hey Guys,

It was a good week for Gillette Safety Razors. The first two razors, a 1957 and 1955, cost $5.00 each, that included shipping. It does not get much better than that.

The Gillette Black Handle Super Speed, 1968, is in practically new condition.

Fell free to add any Gillette safety razors to this thread.

    Thanks for looking,,,,

Yes, they were, the 1955 will go to a guy that is now using a Wal Mart VHD razor from China, can't have that.

    Walmart DE? Shudder.

I was perusing the bay this afternoon and noticed the Gillette Adjustables seem to have gone down in price this last year.

It does seem that way, I picked one up last month for $25.00 , I believe it was, but I usually grab them within the first hour they hit the bay.

Picked this British Aristocrat up a while back, no case but absolutely mint. This is the third one I have had, sold one on. One of the nicer looking DEs ever made. Rhodium plated. Was a ridiculously cheap buy now on a local auction.

The market for the common gillettes is incredibly soft right now. Softest in years.

That's a good thing for me, as I use the common ones to get guys off the disposables & into wet shaving.

Yes, it's nice. Every time I see an Aristocrat, it is in a bidding war. Or priced way to high for me.

DE market is solid down here, more popular than the straights.
