Is that a wimpy B52 magnet in the primer hole?
NO way will it hold that beast up, I think!

Unless he has three larger ones stacked in the shell casing.

I wanted to use real gunpowder Mike, but alas I played it safe as the sparkle you provided me was perfect for the task..
Spent, saved 45 caliber slugs are very hard to come by up here. This one and another are all I have from my childhood.
I had a few set backs during this project and destroyed two attempts before this one worked to save the round in the middle for another attempt.
Anyone feel like PIF with some spent brass and loose lead, pm me and I can build you one as well.
Maybe different rounds for different knot sizes could be done?

No magnets in this build Tom,
That's all bullet and primer complete..
Had to simulate the rifling or the air under the slug, still in the brass messed up the project during cure, be it pressure, or vacuum. Left a crooked 'fired' bullet effect. Totally uncool!
The glitter was set right around where the bullet leaves the brass, but during the pour it was all pulled off by the resin and jumbled up as the final results show.

    Lol,, I was horrible..
Taught long guns early on and still have them, but pistols were a no no.
So I would pinch my dads when he wasn't home, pull the bullets apart, collect the powder, and fire off the primer like a kick ass cap gun to scare the barn cats.. Hehehe
Got caught fairly quickly and tuned in by the steel hair brush to my butt,,, but kept some of the trophies...
My own boy was sooo much better behaved than I growing up, lol...
