Default Nice little auction win. 8/8 Tally Ho Adamantine Edge and a funky 5/8 A.J. Jordan

Got these in the mail yesterday and I'm pretty dang happy. At first glance though I almost shat myself because I thought the Tally Ho was cracked but looking closer, those grooves were obviously put there intentionally for some damn reason. Ideally the blade face would have less scarring bit I still think she's awfully pretty. When I get it restored, I'll have it done as good as can be done without sacrificing the etching. To lose that would be an utter injustice imo. The A.J. Jordan is a peculiar little thing isn't it?

Here are my two Tally Hos together. The Adamantine Edge is a bit wedgeier than the larger one. Now I just need to find a Fenney or two...

The motto on the smaller one is adorable!

Have fun with both of them!

I have a Jordan like that!
The original box would proclaim 'Jordan's Anti-Profanity Razor'.

    Don't have that, however.

    The Tally-Ho is nice!

Excellent razors. Both are very unique, which is what I'm drawn to these days. Enjoy them!!!

Yep, and that motto might be put on a wall plaque for my shave cave.

Nice score! Just a hypothesis, but could those marks on the Tally Ho be from the manufacturing process? I mean, probably not too likely that they'd let one out of the factory that way. The placement of those lines makes me think those might be forge weld lines .

Thanks. That's an interesting thought. I was drawing a complete blank on what the heck the might be.
