Default I got my great grandfather's SR!

I traveled back home (Argentina) and my mom gave me my great grandfather's SR.
I got to know his name and a bit of story about my family.

My great grandfather, Alfredo was born in Spain in 1900. He traveled from Spain to Argentina in 1951. He brought his two sons (my grandpa with 20 years) in a ship leaving wife and daughters in Spain. From what we know, he didn't want his sons to be forced to go to Morocco as soldiers. I guess it's related to https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Spanis...ate_in_Morocco.

Here are some pics of the Filarmonica:

I noticed that the scales are not original, and they say "Industria Argentina". I guess he broke the original scales and got them fixed here.

Did he bring the SR on the ship? Did he buy it in Argentina? I will never know.
I am more than excited to get back home in San Francisco and leave it shave ready.

Looks like the razor will clean up and hone up nicely.
I'd be more excited about the family history and owning something from my great grandfather.
    That's very special.
    Congratulations and enjoy!

Nice razor, but very cool for it being your great grandfathers. And I love when I can learn family history
