Thanks. I had a chance at a Price once before maybe 7 years ago but at that time the seller balked. The seller today at a national knife show, said he knew nothing about the razor which almost made me think of the many Price and Will & Finck San Fran fakes that are supposed to be around. Not that this very cordial seller would have a fake, not insinuating that.... he was a very knowledgeable Case & Sons knife guy. He gave me a number he wanted and I told him I would consider it. I bought a very scarce Dorko from another exhibitor/vendor and returned to the Price owner. I was perplexed on the obvious "missing" something or the other on the spine, thinking Brass faux frameback piece missing? Nahhhh....it is a wedge grind and that almost certainly eliminated a faux frameback. Only later did I find the Levine photo showing a similar model missing the guard. I made him an offer and he accepted.
