Thanked: 0W.R. Case & Sons razor
I just received a vintage W.R. Case razor through an Ebay purchase, and I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about it.
On the shank is written "W.R. Case & Sons BRADFORD, PA" on one side and "Warranted for Life/Registered 023" on the other side.
The handle appears to be Bakelite.
Blade is 3 inches long and the razor, when closed, is 6 inches long.
It has a sharp pointed blade.
Comparing it to my new, modern razors from France and Germany, the width seems to fall between a 4/8 and a 5/8.
I know there are some Case razor experts out there. Can anyone tell me approximately when this razor was made by Case?
Thank you.Last edited by kmadden; 02-03-2017 at 01:43 AM. Reason: Cannot upload photo.

Welcome to SRP. Case made real good razors, so it ought to make a good shaver.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Thanked: 0Martin103, how did you narrow it down to 1905-1914?
I'm curious and I'm trying to learn about Case razors.
Thanks.

Thanked: 884As far as Case knives go, the "Sons" ( plural ) was used from 1906 on to around 1920 along with a few other marks.
1903-1905 W.R Case and Son was used.
I would imagine the razor was made sometime between 1906 and 1920.
