    Default Finally found a stand

I was on a business trip today and had time to forage in an antiques shop. The shop was displaying a bunch of pipes in this old pipe stand. I mentioned that I had been looking for one of these stands for straight razors. He sold me the stand for $12.00 and it works great. My larger blades won't fit, but I'll fill it up[emoji1]

Thank you! Most of them are round or square. This one has hanger hooks on the back. I'll probably mount it on a wall.

If it was mine, I'd use it as a "rotation" rack , I would put a couple of DE Gillette's in it.

That rack you found there is a pipe rack. Dayton used to make those in various configurations. Real well made hardwoods. I've got 5 of them for tobacco pipes (like any normal person)

Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.
