Lot just arrived
Wade &Butcher rattler 7/8 at its widest scales are thrashed.
Cattagarius our best, has a few issues but should clean up nice. Love the spine marks.
Joseph Allen &Sons wedge needs some work lots of rust and character.
Finally a shoulderless from St. Paul can't remember exactly the maker needs a good cleaning.
All in all lots of work ahead but should be some good blades in the end. The rattler is the prize in the bunch IMO. Thanks for lookingNothing is fool proof, to a sufficiently talented fool...

Thanked: 4200That WB looks just like the first one I did in the rattler redskins.
Should be a beauty when done. Great shavers.
Congrats brother! Nice lot."Depression is just anger,, without the enthusiasm."

Thanked: 4249Well that rattler is very nice but the Cattaraugus is very cool as well, double hollow patented by no other then George Korn.

Thanks for posting George Korn's patent, Martin! I have a bellied hollow Thistle that obviously needs a Double Hollow to keep her company. I will have to keep my eyes peeled for one. I absolutely love the complexity and skill involved in grinding a hollow blade in this fashion.

Ok so its super hard to get a pic of the toe grind but you can see a belly.
Also in the other pics the grind is crazy!
Second I was wrong the shoulderless us from L. Herder St. Philadelphia, NY.Nothing is fool proof, to a sufficiently talented fool...
