Gorgeous set Mike. Especially with the ivory scales intact. More often the scales are cracked from those I've seen.
Be careful how you treat people on your way up, you may meet them again on your way back down.

Yes Jimmy both sides are intact. The locking mechanism is very smooth. Blades have some sort of film on them and edges are a wee bit chippy. I have wanted one of these kinds of sets for a long while and never could find one in my price range. This is a long term project on some basic clean-up and getting the edges shave ready.
