    Thank You Mike, I remember that lovely example of the "Swedish razor" that you finally found, sorry I forget the name, but I remember your great pix, it must be a year or two now since you've had it, and I'd like to know how you're enjoying it :-)

    Mate, I learnt an interesting fact a few years ago, antique bottle dealers can "put" a bottle into a "box" and "bombard it" with UV (and I think) IR "rays" to speed up the process of turning it purple.
    This doesn't sound dishonest to me, it just speeds up
    the natural process !!

    I'm hoping that the person (a dealer in bottles) wasn't just
    pulling my chain...it wasn't April 1st either, so....
