Battle Axe Cutlery Company
Hello,
Stopped by the local antique store on the way to Duncan Donuts; this Battle Axe Cutlery Company was there, $23.00. It needed 2 hours of cleaning & 45 minutes of honing.
Norton 1, 4, 8 and finished on a Haida Gwaii . Stropped on a Neil Miller; I'll give her a run in the morning.
Here is a little information on the company taken from Manah's site,,, Thank You Manah !
"This trademark was used by Alfred R.Justice, 1897-1937.
Located at 14 N. 5th Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania."
STRAZORS.com - all about classic razors - Battle Axe Cutlery Co., Philadelphia.
Thank you for looking,,,,

Thanked: 1081Nice work, I do love a shoulderless razor.
Battle Axe just sounds cool too, would be great for bragging rights with your mates "I shaved with a battle axe today!"

I have not found a razor in that store for the last couple of years, so this was a pleasant surprise.
