A day at the flea market.
The gods were with me today, and good thing. I haven't been out hunting since last November, and seeing some of our other members having great hunts has left me a bit green with envy.
But as I like to say...good things come to those who wait. So I waited, putting back a little chedder each week for that the day I get out.
So here's what followed me home.
Red Imp strop (excellent condition) needs cleaned.
Old spice mug n unknown boar brush.
4/8 Henckels.
5/8 Torrence cutlery Co.
5/8 Torrey razor Co.
11/16 Frederick Reynolds in bone scales.
Roberis, Warrantei, Stub tail.
7/8 Antoni Tadross W/ toe damage.
6/8 Colonial steel Co. Pitts. PA.
1 Swatty
A possible Washita, once cleaned. Just going by the fresh chip in the stone.
A hard, very dense, grey stone. Very smooth with great reflective quality, for as dirty as it is.
3 Coties, and the purple backer from another.

Not too shabby, all for less than a new beginners starter set, without stones.Mike

Thanked: 59Totally off the hook score! I used to do that with the old heavy silver 70's stereo equipment and tube amps no one wanted. Every weekend I would hit the flea's and GS's.

Fantastic!!!! That's a great score! That's kicking it off hunting season in style. I've never found more than one coti at a time in the wild. You got the coticule hat trick today, my friend. Plus those razors look to be in great shape for flea market razors. It will be awesome to use one of those razors, honed on a coti, stropped on the Imp, lather in the mug, shave on! Congrats!
