Default What I have so far.

So I've never really had a hobby, now I've been bitten hard. This is what I have so far. I'm in under five and have two d/e with cases and a set of scales in the mail.
I'm very new to this and have that dang jump head first affliction.
How do you gentleman think I've done?
    What's good, what's bad?
I would appreciate any info, as I'm sure I'll be at this for the long haul. I can post closer pictures if needed.
Thank you. Hope y'all have a great day!

Yep, you've been bitten by the bug. Be sure to keep this picture and compare it to what you have in a years time.

Your selection looks good. I strongly recommend that you have them professionally honed and enjoy shaving with them before buying more! Don't be an idiot like me and buy a lot of blades and then find out which size and grind you like!

Thank you Richard. I've refrained from buying any for the past week and a half. I read that it was best to start with a d/e razor. That is the reason for the fat boy. The Flying Eagle was bought for my love of functionality. One of the razors in the mail is a Gillette Kaki set. I have a thing for purpose and functionality. This hobby resounds with me because of these things. Not to mention is there anything that symbolizes what a man should be? Steel, stone, leather and wood [emoji123]haha.

    Nice!

The joke is that you save money with classic shaving as you don't have to buy the expensive cartridges that last a week. Of course, many of us get the bug like you have and that never, ever happens.

Look like a good setup you have started. And to be in under five, I'd say you've done well.
