    Default Today's hunt

Found a few things at an antique shop that fit my "buy" criteria.
Two straights, a Wosty, celebrated whisker razor with light hone wear, coated in clear. And a Wheatsheaf Cutlery Co., in streaked honey horn, that someone started sanding on already, but it wasn't by hand. But for the work needed to bring it around again, it didn't hurt anything.
A Unknown hone, in a box, a cool lookin porcelain boar brush.

and a Coticule that was missing the bottom half, which I had already. [emoji1]

I am amused that you found the coticule to match the BBW that you already found on a previous outing.
    Nice day of hunting.

    Almost NOS, Joseph.
May have been honed twice, maybe.
Then someone coated the whole thing in clear coat.

You bet, and it preserved the etch as well. Sure made the horn scales pop, plus sealed them from drying out and warping. Though there's a couple bug bites near the wedge on the b side.

    Nice haul Outback.

Seems that all the old English makers used the same font when they stamped "The Celebrated" onto their razors.

Cool finds, Mike! Like Rez said, pretty neat that you already had the BBW from the other week, then to find this sweet coti - like it was meant to be. You must be butter 'cause you're on a roll!
