    Default Home made razor rack

I decided to finally get round to making a rack for a few of my razors. Found a nice scrap of oak at a local timber merchant and used some cup hooks to keep things simple. I struggle to saw straight so made exaggerated curves at both ends a design feature!

Are you going to stain or seal it?

No I'm leaving it as it is. I was quite surprised how hard and dense the wood is. It's also a pleasingly good match for some oak picture frames we have around the house.

Just me but, with my luck, I would probably knock it over taking a razor out. I haven't made something myself yet but, someday.

That was a concern but the weight of the timber and the backwards tilt actually makes it pretty stable.

You could slide some clear fuel line over the cup hooks. It adds some grip and reduces marks. It is a very nice rack. Mine would have to be way bigger...lol.
