a good day at the thrift store
though i don't have as good of luck as OUTBACK i think i did pretty good this weekend. Hit several antique stores is Indiana with only a greasy Arkansas to show (not pictured as it is soaking). Found another Rubberset aluminum at a thrift shop (second one this year so far
) and closer to home a blade bank with a brush and DE.
Bought the blade bank to resell as i already have one like it, but was pleased to find out that the DE is a 1920 "Big Fellow". Apparently another good find. I had originally thought if i found another Rubberset that i would sell it but am having second thoughts as it is a #3 instead of a #4 like i have. thinking about re knotting it and using it instead of just displaying it with the rest of my collection.
Does anyone know what to soak the brush in to loosen the threads? ( i know i read it somewhere but can't find it.)

You did good ,Vern.
I've yet to come across one of those aluminum brushes, but I was about 1-1 1/2 hrs from you when I found stone heaven.
If your in the mood for a light green Escher( barbers special ), a Deep Rock, or a Thurigan, all with box, labels, slurry stones. $$$$$
Gimmy a PM and I'll let ya know where the are. [emoji6]Mike
