Excited that I won this on eBay today! NOS 7/8 honestly thought I would be out bid!

They are indeed beautiful, but alas, I feel that the O in NOS is misleading as I have strong suspicion that these are current production razors, possibly made by Wacker.

Well, for one, the seller seems to have an endless supply of them.
They don't have the slightest bit of tarnishing, something you would still see on NOS razors, at least near the pivot.
And lastly, mine needed work on my 1k stone. My experience with NOS solingen razors is that the most work they require is a few strokes on a finishing stone at most.
I spoke to a friend of mine who also purchased some Dorkos from the same seller and he had similar observations and doubts.IndependenceRazor1 likes this.
