hey all! just picked this up for 20$, you guys think thats a decent deal?
the tang says:

Ive found info dating it between 1840 and 1901 and more accurate dating would be appreciated!

Looks to be in good shape. Not much clean up needed. I would do a quick clean up hone it and enjoy.

Horn scales.? The crack can be repaired, if the wedge is loose.

nice razor. 1891 was when they were required to put the country of origin on for export so that would put the date of this before that.

If it can't be clamped shut with some CA, you'd have to fill it with epoxy and horn dust, then redrill the pin hole and sand the shape back into the scales.
