    I really liked that one too, I look at thousands of razors on the bay and had never seen one like it. I had you beat for a while but I faded at the end of the race. I had planned to leave the patina and pretty much just soak the scales and hone her up, she has so much character. Good luck.

    Ahh, so you were the one! Great minds do think alike. It's home among friends though. Unfortunately, the scales are a bit cracked near the pins, so I may have to rescale it. The blade is big at nearly 7/8 by my rough measurement and heavy as it is a near wedge.

    It may present honing challenges, but I'm really looking forward to shaving with this piece of history. More photos as promised:

    Cracks near the pins can be safely glued with superglue. It bonds very, very well with horn. Especially with the neat bit of MOP inlay in those scales, preserving them would be a very high priority for me.
