Well, its pretty cool! Great significance there.
I often wonder about the men who originally owned these razors.
They must have been quite proud of them!

Looking to the past, I don't think many would have bought 1 just because it was neat. I would think the men that bought them were Masons.
Could be wrong, wouldn't be the first time

I would go further to say you may have had to be a Mason TO buy one?
Perhaps they were awards of sorts?

I had read where commercial use of Masonic symbols is/was prohibited.

    Surely it was back then?
Seems I have not ever seen one in old literature/advertisements or peeks at old catalogs?

What a nice gesture. Fitting that it's back in the hands of a Mason.
Would be interesting to know the story behind them.
Sharpton has a point, have never seen one in a catalog.

Well I don't know or understand alot of our rules and regs, but I do know something is said about symbols and such being shared or rather not shared. I am willing to say Tom is right these were maybe rewards, gifts or something you could purchase as a Mason. Hmm, sure got my wheels spinning fellas.

    Aloha!

Nice Masonic Razor! And by W&B, but that makes sense as Masonic tradition is rich in England. There are probably Scottish Rite Engraved Razors as well.

    Enjoy that razor!

Scottish Rite is one of the 2 paths you can take as a Mason. The other is Blue Lodge. The symbols on the razor would apply to both initially.
