Thread: What's NOT in the display case?

Same guy called me today and said he had a few more in rough shape if I wanted to have a look. He wasn't kidding about rough shape. Wind chimes, the lot of them!

But there was this one with... interesting... scales. I don't think they are bone, I see none of the pores that are usually in bone scales. Not plastic either. Still, I'm no expert and have very little experience with ivory, but they might be? I thought ivory scales were mostly pinned without collars, and this one has collars, so I don't know.

The blade is junked but it's stamped "Telofit" on the show side and "Full Concave A. Whitt" on the B-side.
