Thread: New Custom yet Practical PRC Razor

I just received my custom Portland Razor Company "The Strix". It took about three week from time of order to the point it was in my hands. I will not get a chance to use it until Monday, but it looks like it will make a great shaver. 1/4 Hollow, 7/8, Smiling, Mirror Finish, Arizona Ironwood Scales.

When holding it, it seems to be well balanced, the upper and lower jimps seem to be off a bit, but when I place my fingers in those positions the grip is balanced and seems easy to control.

I like the smile as it seems to help with the east to west directional growth on my neck, the french point helps get around the Goatee, the thought was to have a practical custom razor ... we shall see.

Great shave worked exactly as expected. I was able to mow down three days worth of growth without an issue.
