Default FBU Butcher and An interesting FBU scale donor

All came in today. Fbu is in great shape and will be well over an inch still when I hone out the chip. A real shame about the donor blade as these dual stamped ones don't grow on trees but it is good to have up here for documentation.

You will come-up wearing golden earrings. Nice pile.

Never heard of a double-stamp before? I should check mine?

    Make a shortie!

If you went lengthwise and thinned the spine you would still get a blade over 5/8

Or he could make one of those "tapered" blades.

I just cleaned up a different one yesterday. It didn't have a strong tang stamp despite showing no signs of prior work so I had to be light. Name: 20171117_164717.jpg
