Thanked: 169FBU Butcher and An interesting FBU scale donor
All came in today. Fbu is in great shape and will be well over an inch still when I hone out the chip. A real shame about the donor blade as these dual stamped ones don't grow on trees but it is good to have up here for documentation.

You will come-up wearing golden earrings. Nice pile.
Never heard of a double-stamp before? I should check mine?
Make a shortie!"Don't be stubborn. You are missing out."
I rest my case.

Thanked: 169If you went lengthwise and thinned the spine you would still get a blade over 5/8

Recently aquired one of these cleavers myself. My hands are already feeling the ache from the sanding I’ve yet to start.
Just remember.

Thanked: 169I just cleaned up a different one yesterday. It didn't have a strong tang stamp despite showing no signs of prior work so I had to be light.

You have quite the collection of choppers. Very nice.
