    Default Picked this up.

Won it on the Bay. Imperial with horn scales. Ding in the edge and a touch of rust in spots b7t the edge looked clear. Won it for 14 bucks shipped. Now if i can find that one of a kind custom for this price next time. Lol.

Interesting, I think I have one with the same blade stamp, if not a similar style blade and I thought it was American. I'll have to double check. I know it doesn't say Imperial though.

That one should clean up well gasman. The blade etching was a common one that I have seen on blades from several different makers. Imperials are good shavers in my experience.

I've never had any issues honing an Imperial and they shave very well

This one is a 6/8 plus a smidge. And this makes the 4th Imperial i have. Ive got one with the eagle on the blade, two like this and one that has thr words silk screaned on thr blade but its bellied. I do like them. The price was right so i couldnt pass it up. I will loose the smidge getting the chip out of the heal but it should still end up a solid 6/8 when im done. For now it goes in the to-do box for another time.

Nice grab, Jerry. I see these come up regularly but most I see look like they have some type of old plastic scales. Cool this one has horn, in good shape too from what I can see. Do your other ones have horn scales? So, this is the fourth.... well, that's only three away from a seven-day set. Can't stop now, you're too close.

This is the only one that came in horn. Guessing someone dressed it up years back as the other 3 were in plastic but one i put in horn. 3 different blades but all four are Imperials. I got some plans for making a set but really want four of the same blades for the set. Im getting there and after my set is done i might sell off what i dont use. After restoring of course. I do like these razors. Easy to hone and a nice size for me.

Im really wanting the "Improved Eagle" razors. The ones with the eagle etched in the blade but some folks on the Bay want way too much for them. And sense i dont care about scales im not willing to pay 75+ for them or even close to that.

Some day ill show off a set of four with custom scales and in a custom box. In the far future im afraid.
    Thanks for the comments gentlemen.
