Default Some Schulze Razor photos to share with members

Guy's I posted these photos a few nights ago in another section of the SRP but I believe this is where they should be. I got this nice Schulze razor a while back and I was asking for help to date this. And a couple of members helped me with the date. My photos don't do justice for this razor as the the gold wash is really complete. Name: Schulze1.jpg

Kyleybob. The folks at the Schulze Weyer Razor site dated this between 1930 and 1950 but I believe it is late 1930s. I found a similar one quite a while back that was very close to this but the gold wash was not quite as clean or complete. That one was dated to 1936 and I think this is from that same era. Thank you for the nice comment. Mike D.

Nice looking blade. Great shavers, very thin. Hopefully you get it honed without too much loss of steel. I see some nasty stuff along the edge.

Outback. I wont be honing this at all. I did touch it up with WD 40 and a soft cloth. This is sitting open on a display shelf and when friends visit it is usually a conversation piece. Thank you for the comment. Have a happy new year. Mike D.

That's sad.! And it looks to be near NOS, if not.
I'd have a hard time, just looking at it. I'd have to strip it of the scales, for a better blade. But that's me.!

Outback. I'm not a knowledgeable razor guy I collect antiques and add to my collection but from now on I'm going to add razors to my collection. This one has a 7/8 blade and I'll be watching for more big boys especially W & Bs. I did open a tin can I had downstairs and tried cleaning up a couple of them and I was suprised how nice they cleaned up. I also broke a couple blades that were damaged beyond repair. I enjoy the challenge and it kills time as I'm retired.

That is impassive, and depressing. I'm not sure anything I own would look half as good 80 years from now.
