Its like a dream come true.
We basically divided up the house. the workshop, finished basement, downstairs bathroom and main bedroom are mine. Shes got the upstairs bath and the two smaller bedrooms, the living room and the kitchen.
I told her when i moved in.. the secret to living together is staying out of each others way.
Having three floors makes getting some 'alone time' pretty easy.

Thanked: 4822I have to say that does qualify as two really great acquisitions, or one super package. It sounds like it is a match for sure.
The place is looking great. I had a theory 21 plus years ago, keeping checking stuff off of the honey do list, and she will keep adding stuff, but never finish the list, it keeps your stock value high. It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

My dad said hes been working on his for about 30 years!! TBH after renting apartments for the last 20 years i kinda like being able to fix the place up the way I like it. The lawn will be a chore in the spring and we have a few other big projects lined up for this summer. Pride of ownership has a new meaning to me.

When i moved in i had to unload a lot of stuff. Im currently renting a 10 x 30 storage unit for the Harley, kayaks, mountain bikes, etc. Come spring were gonna replace her 8 x 8 shed with a 12 x 18, gabled roof. I do have a lot of toys.. but for now im pretty settled in.
