The scales are buffalo bone that I source from India. This was a fairly deeply coloured blank. The scales have the edge rounded at a fairly wide radius but the whole scale is not domed. The wedge is the original lead wedge. It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Great job as always Rez, you do have some real skills when it comes to working with the scales.

Thanked: 4823Other than the honing I did not do any work on the blade. I have to say that the blade either has been restored to the right level or has seen quite a bit of care, and still show some age, as it should.
