    You are right Razorfaust. Corian is only inside thin layer. Outside is resin dyed for white and red colour, moulded on steel mesh. It's made specially for this project.

    And small bonus. Clip with customer who is ahaving this razor.

    Nice looking razor. I need to check out his work. Did he make the wood case for it as well? It looks nice.

    @JP5, yes he did wooden cases too. Only leather cases are made by another.

    3. Completely different type of straight razor.
    Kind of replica old type razor 6/8 hollow
    Scales: olivewood with brass inserts
    Steel: carbon

    Know that is nice! I'd even thought about trying to make one like that myself as i'd like to have one but haven't had any luck finding a original.

    I love the scales. He's one of the few that round scales these days.

    Is this different blade shape giving trouble holding well?
    I suspect that it may be easier to manufacture as well

    Even if it is blatant advertising, The contours and workmanship of the blades and scales is great! The boxes are terrific. To use the natural flaws/ aging of the wood to accentuate the beauty of the final box is unusual and very beautiful!

    I thought they had flat faces with round edges and possibly tapered on the end. I may be wrong. I prefer rounded scales too, but it is a lot of work getting them to come out right!

    Sorry for delay in response. Without tapatalk I've problem with reading the forum.

    @JP5 are right. Scales are flat with fillet edges.
