Then it will be good for all those that like to hone heavy grinds with two or more layers of tape. Probably come out right

Nice clean looking razor. But i agree that the spine looks thin. Does he know how to measure to get the proper angles needed at the edge/bevel? Might be something for him to learn how to do. Still a fine looking blade. Just thin.
It's just Sharpening, right?

I'm guessing the spine is supposed to be about 2/8 wide at the hone contact points. measure it and see what it is, photos can be deceiving. Bluesman7 has made many a razor and if he thinks it looks thin it just may be too thin. Curious to see what it measures out to be.

Let us not discourage the maker, other than the questionable geometry the fit and finish look superb.

Yeah Sharpton it was that last picture that made me want some measurements because it looks maybe ok or at least not too far off. But what the hell do I know I got to give the steel pounders the benefit of the doubt.

it's a nice looking razor! As has been said already, if he has the geometry (and the hardness right) it is a fine shaver. I'd be proud to own it.

I love the scales. He's one of the few that round scales these days.
