Default The Anglo-Siam Corporation Limited 11/16" Hollow Ground Razor

One of my Latest Acquisitions and a Piece of colonial History how i guess, a 11/16" hollow ground Razor made by the order of the Anglo-Siam Corporation Ltd. for the Export to Siam in the first third of the 20. Century.
A real Nice One as i got it NOS for a good Price but the History of the Razor keeps me helpless as i cant imagine if it really was produced for export nor when it was produced, i believe it was made before the 30s as i cant imagine that a british company corporated with a german producer after 1933.
Maybe someone here in the SRP can tell me somethig about this technical usual but historical more or less unusual Razor? Im happy for all replies, especially as i dont know much about the colonial history of siam.

Helge, look at the Anglo-Siamese treaty of 1909. Some crazy colonial history there.
I could venture the razor was imported later than that by an established British company.
It is certainly in fine condition.

PM Chamberlain did his “peace in our time” 1938. Nazis invaded Poland September 1939. War begins. Everyone was doing business with Nazi Germany till 1939. Only Churchill saw the evil.
A little advice: Don't impede an 80,000 lbs. 18 wheeler tanker carrying hazardous chemicals.

Back in say 1919, The deal was the deal. Seems apparent this was a British company operating on existing conditions. Germans were selling cheap, Brits had the control.
We have to remember that Solingen was not destroyed in WWI.
    Was in WWII, though.

Don't ever think that western (allied) companies did not do business during WWII in Germany through their German subsidiaries.

A fun thing that my students enjoy is the history of Fanta soda corporation. Sugar embargo equals nazi version of coca cola with whatever sweetener they can scrape up. Its a neat story.
