You know why the dude has this mean look on the blade?
It's because it's designed to be a mean razor like Mao Tse Tung's Revenge.
You better send it to me. I know how to turn him into a pussycat.

Nice find!
Looks like it is from Goedecke & Co GmbH, 1898.

Thanked: 55It's a round tip 6/8" in great shape that is a little uncommon with the etching/emblem and that's the kind of thing I'm looking for these days.
I'm on a roll. My last two razors...Mandarin and Plumero.

The Mandarin reminds me of that Christopher Lee movie "The Terror Of The Tangs"
The white gleam of swords, not the black ink of books, clears doubts and uncertainties and bleak outlooks.

Thanked: 55Very nice! I read your comment in that post..."hero or villain". When I first saw the Mandarin on Ebay I thought "Cool...a pirate!".
Yes, I really like the etching as well. I thought it was particularly cool that there was an etching of the whole face as well as the word "Mandarin". I'm starting to really like most any vintage razor that has an emblem on the scales as well.Last edited by gcbryan; 05-01-2018 at 07:38 AM.
