You know why the dude has this mean look on the blade?

It's because it's designed to be a mean razor like Mao Tse Tung's Revenge.

You better send it to me. I know how to turn him into a pussycat.

    Har har.

    Nice find!
Looks like it is from Goedecke & Co GmbH, 1898.

It's a round tip 6/8" in great shape that is a little uncommon with the etching/emblem and that's the kind of thing I'm looking for these days.

I'm on a roll. My last two razors...Mandarin and Plumero.

The Mandarin reminds me of that Christopher Lee movie "The Terror Of The Tangs"

Congrats, you really are on a roll. The uncommon is always interesting to me also.

Mandarin are some fine razors. I like that yours has the etch. Mine is post 14 in The Hall of Heroes https://straightrazorpalace.com/razo...-heroes-2.html

Very nice! I read your comment in that post..."hero or villain". When I first saw the Mandarin on Ebay I thought "Cool...a pirate!".

Yes, I really like the etching as well. I thought it was particularly cool that there was an etching of the whole face as well as the word "Mandarin". I'm starting to really like most any vintage razor that has an emblem on the scales as well.
