I say that as I own a Williams Purist (with the MOP covered handle ) and the razor is stunning imho and its my favourite shaver, I do find it a tad weird to hold compared to a conventional straight razor but its such a good shaver I am willing to overlook that small point.

That style is not everyone’s thing. I do like mine. They are well made.
