Another find on eBay
Picked up this Cattaraugus Indian on eBay for 23 bucks shipped. No other bidders. Got it for my opening bid. Its a little over 5/8 and in pretty good shape. A couple tiny stains and a few scratches on the blade and scale. It's going to need just a little cleaning but it should turn out nice without a lot of work. Came with the original box. I don't collect boxes but it's a nice touch to have the box I guess.
Another American for the collection.
It had some sticky stuff on the dge that looked like rust but it wiped off so not rust on edge. Someone tried to hone it a little but did a bad job. Shouldn't take no real effort to correct the bevel. So for the money, I think I got a good deal. Some times you can find nice razors on the Bay for a low cost if you look around.Last edited by Gasman; 06-04-2018 at 08:18 PM.

Nice, Jerry!
Summertime is the time to buy. Guys are out doing other things instead of being holed-up inside and bidding against you!

Good point Tom. Being on the night shift, i look for stuff ending in the middle of the night too. Not as much ending then, but sometimes. I find most the time its from overseas at night and i just dont like to buy that far away.
Id like to see if i can get that "X" sanded out on the scales. Havent worked with plastic yet. At least i think its plastic. Dont think its rubber. It's just Sharpening, right?

If it sands brown dust it is hard rubber/bakelite.
Some of my best deals have come from France, Spain, England, Japan, and others.
That is another advantage. Guys like you won't buy from overseas!
Takes a while to get here, but hey! It's Ebay! You don't get it, you get your money back.
One problem is sending it back, so make certain you like the pictures.
