Thanked: 4826You are most likely being paranoid, however if it was wrapped in a paper towel and soaked in alcohol and left for twenty minutes it will be fine.

I'm actually resetting the bevel as we speak. I put some tape on the spine when I went to touch it up. I think that changed the angle, but it is just about back to where it needs to be. The edge is a bit longer than some of my other blades, but it lies completely flat on the stones.

You know that feeling when you are shave testing a newly honed razor, and you realize almost immediately "yep, nailed it"?
That's the easiest bevel setting and honing I've done so far.
It is sharp but also it was a smooth shave. Glad I picked this one up.
