    You are most likely being paranoid, however if it was wrapped in a paper towel and soaked in alcohol and left for twenty minutes it will be fine.

    I can imagine the history books 20 years from now: "The great 2018 Zombie Outbreak was traced back to Patient Zero sonnythehooligan who shaved with an undisinfected straight razor he found in an antique shop somewhere in the Midwest."

    I'm actually resetting the bevel as we speak. I put some tape on the spine when I went to touch it up. I think that changed the angle, but it is just about back to where it needs to be. The edge is a bit longer than some of my other blades, but it lies completely flat on the stones.

    You know that feeling when you are shave testing a newly honed razor, and you realize almost immediately "yep, nailed it"?

    That's the easiest bevel setting and honing I've done so far.

    It is sharp but also it was a smooth shave. Glad I picked this one up.
