4, 8, and 19 are not in too bad of shape. But you got you a lot of razors i personnally have never herd of. And you got a lot of tiny razors at that. Something around 5/8 to 6/8 is recommended for learning on. Looks like one 5/8 in the bunch and one frameback that i know nothing about. Sorry.
Hope someone pops in here and can give you some better guidance and have a clue on these razors. Do you plan on sending one or two off for fixing and honing? Or fix yourself and send off for honing? Whats the plan?
Im not trying to be crittical here but what you piced up is what most of us would not want. Not you got a few user grade razors if honed up, but not worth restoring in my opinion. But i dont know these names so maybe there is a nugget in the bunch i dont know about. The frame back is n8ce, if its a good maker but i dont know.
I do know you didnt pic up a lot of winners and hope you got a hell of a bargan for the lot. When collecting without knoladge it can be hard to know what to buy. But we all started somewhere.Last edited by Gasman; 08-14-2018 at 05:19 AM.

Thanked: 1Thank you. I'm still researching them myself as most of them are German, french and maybe Italian blades.
I plan to send some into Nates Straights to get restored.

You've got some good ones there. Of course some of them are bad.
I like the frameback. And a couple of the other ones have minimal hone wear.
That frameback should be a great shaver. And the round tip razors in my opinion are easy to shave with (as opposed to square or spike tips). Great beginners razors. Half of my daily shavers are round tips though it seems there are those who don't like them.
Get them pro-honed unless you have experience with honing straight razors.
IMHO it is best to start out shaving knowing what a properly honed razor feels like.“You must unlearn what you have learned.”
