Just got this big Frederick Reynolds in the mail. Time to start scrubbing. Let’s see what I have here.

Thanked: 1936Love those faux framebacks. You have a good one to start with. Be sure to preserve the decorative washers if you take it apart.

What a beauty! That's in my mind the perfect restore project that I'm sure will be gorgeous when finished.
I think the rattler grind is my favorite but I tend to bounce back and forth on favorites.. definitely always drawn to these big Frederick Reynolds rattlers.
Looking forward to seeing the end results, I'm sure you will love the shave!“You must unlearn what you have learned.”

They are fantastic razors that I feel are on the same level as Wade & Butcher.
I am fortunate enough to own three.
Take your time restoring and honing and you have a treasure.
Congratulations and enjoy.
