eBay! WOOT!
Found this beauty for a song on a b.i.n.
Pretty clean as far as rust goes, talking with Glen right now as I don’t have the time, or want to make a mistake, with this thing. Found a WB fbu a while back and sold it, kicked myself ever since. The thing measures at 15/16”+ (~25mm). The grind is 1/2 hollow even a little lighter than that, definitely nothing like the WB fbu as far as weight goes, so a much better fit for my razor preference.Last edited by jfk742; 10-13-2018 at 10:47 PM. That’s the plan, another reason I spoke to Glen about doing it, I never seem to keep the look. Most razors that I get usually get the minimalist approach and just receive enough attention to get the active rust off and fix any problems with function. This one is in good enough shape I think Glen may be able to take 50 years off it’s age but still retain the character of a turn of the century blade.

I’ve never seen a tip like that in a W&B. Nice.

To clarify, I was comparing the fbu Wade and this fbu Reynolds only by their ”for barbers use” designations and that they are ~8/8’s. The WB was double shouldered barbers notch.

I will not go back on eBay. I will not go back on eBay. I will....aw hell, it can't hurt to take a little look.
BTW, gorgeous razor (and I'm envious.)"The sharpening stones from time to time provide officers with gasoline."
