Baby Bull Dog Straight Razor
found this never-been-kissed tiny straight razor on saturday. mertens & herder baby bull dog. blade is roughly only 2.5in, scales only 4.75in. quick search didnt pull anything up. anyone have or seen anything similar?
just needed a cleaning. honed up very quickly and easily. 1k/3k bevel set. okudo/ogura pre-polish. oozuku finisher.
W&B for scale. this one, on the other hand, needed the biggest rocking x-strokes ever. decided to stick with full synthetic progression: 1k, 3, 5k, 8k, 12k.

Had a Mertens/Herder at one time... I remember it well, shaved fantastic.. Gave it away to a Newbie. Hope he's still using it, or anyone for that matter.. Mertens/Herter might be reffered to as the Tower brand... Someone on here would know if that is a Tower brand for sure.. SMW
