Nice looking lot of razors!
If you paid $10.00 for the lot, you did good.
If you paid $10,000.00 for the lot, you didn't do quite so good.
I never find razors as nice as these. Wish I could.I may not be as old as dirt, but I do remember when the Dead Sea first begin to feel ill!

You did make some great finds and in good shape. Id have snagged them all up too. The old boker can be compared to a list of the difference in the Tree shape. As it was changed thru the years. Just look up the graff and see what one you have.
It's just Sharpening, right?

Really depends on what you paid like Bart said, on the other hand if your happy that’s all that matters, me I would have gave less than 30$ for the lot. Small production razors are not my thing. So you see why we don’t value razors, you would be insulted by my value

Thanked: 4826The JMP Filarmonica is very early. That combined with the scales makes it a little rare. Most of the blades in your stack are very thin and will not withstand much corrosion or sanding. All in all it looks like a great outing. If you are gong to restore them yourself there are some long running restoration threads in the workshop you can jump in on.
It's not what you know, it's who you take fishing!

Thanked: 315Nice looking razors! Hard to find several razors together in the wild that aren't covered in rust.
One shop I've stopped at several times in recent years has one Henckels razor the booth owner wants over $100 for. It has been there for several years.Last edited by JP5; 03-22-2019 at 03:05 AM.

Thanked: 3215Nice score, all very nice razor and great shavers.
The Boker is a rescale in what looks like Horn. The style was popular. You can tell it was rescaled as the pins do not match.
Nice pair of Ducks, the No.1 will need some heel correction, the rest should clean up and hone nicely.
Keep an eye on the Filly and the Satin Wedge as they look like they may have started kicking off and someone cleaned up the blades, the did a nice job but can still take a bit more.
Unfortunately, if they do kick off, (look for a light rusting on the edge and blade, they will have to be quickly unscaled. I would take the Filly apart and see if it can be saved, with the original scales, it will be a looker and a shaver.
You might want to go back to that shop, and see if the seller has any more. Probably part of a nice collection.
Enjoy
