Picked this up off of the bay for a really good price, mainly because I thought it was interesting. It is marked as J.J. Manning. Although it isnt marked as being made at Engelswerk, it very obviously was made by them. Same scales, same tang decoration(the blueing and scroll work near the blade), and even the same "special" bolsters with different initials.
What I didnt expect from the pictures in the listing was that it is NOS 6/8 and a bellied hollow to boot! Definitely something I haven't seen on the Engels Special, as the ones I've seen were extra hollow ground.
