I've been going back and forth on buying one of these for years and finally pulled the trigger on it. Much shinier than I expected and easily took a scary sharp and hopefully comfortable edge. The balance of it isn't nearly as bad as I thought it would be, but I can see why people replace the scales with something lighter. I'll probably wait to shave with it on Sunday as I got a bit of sun today and don't want to aggravate my skin too badly.
