Thanked: 81new coticule
I didn't expect to win this one, but I did. It looks like a natural combo, but the BBW side has never been lapped or used. There's a bit of chipping on the corners, and it's slightly dished, but nothing a little lapping won't fix. It measures a little over 5" x 1". I'm looking forward to testing it out!

Thanked: 292Be sure to lap both sides. Although they do not have the same reputation as Coticules, Belgian Blue Whetstones are interesting in their own right, not just as a backer for the yellow stone.

Nice one - white stripes in the bbw and naturally bonded may indicate a 'la veinette'...
I was tryin' to figure out which is worse, ignorance or apathy...Then I realized I don't know and I don't care...

I just happened to pick one up this week but this is Belgium so no big deal to find (vintage) cotis in the wild...
