Thread: double DE score

Havent been on here as much as Id like, been busy with work and now major renovations. Unfortunately due to renos I cant really access my straights easily and so have been using DEs mostly for last 2 months. Renos should end before September, fingers crossed.
I have been lucky with antique stores though. The one I usually visit every 2 months or so had this Slim in the case with blades and instructions. Guy let me have it for 10$, he's an old feller who always sees me come in and either says no new razors or rummages around and finds them for me. The gold fat boy I found at an antique store that just opened up near me. The platig is in excellent shape with only some pitting on the handle. Teh little spots you see in the pics. They also had 5 straights 3 were cracked one was a king cutter with crappy scales and another was unknown to me but they were marketing it with bamboo scales. (actually plastic made to look like bamboo) it was 45$ but as my stones are even harder to get at than my straights (involving moving of much furniture t get at the closet they are in) I wont even consider them til renos are done.

I havent tried either DE yet, need to clean them up but I am eager to try the gold fat boy as I have never used one before and it really does look great.
