Wow, that's a total unicorn, Jamie-So yeah, you gonna hone it? I bought a NOS razor not long ago. I couldn't bring myself to hone it, and it was just pissing me off sitting useless in my cabinet, so I sold it lol!

I was told the razor still has the factory edge, I know the razor very well as I have honed them in the past, I also have Japanese razors with a very similar grind, a quarter hollow 7/8 the nearest I have to that razor would be my Hoshi Tombo first edition quarter hollow 13/16 that is such a smooth shaver.

Great looking razor, are you gonna use her or keep her pristine?

I've never been a collector, all razors to me are tools every NOS I have ever owned will be used, just like owning a vintage car or vintage rifle If I can't drive it or shoot it I don't need it.

Nice Jamie, must be 5 years since you started looking.
Will be interesting to hear how well it shaves.

Brother I always look forward to seeing your blades.on SOTD and know your collection is stacked with some beauties....But for myself I'm not sure I have ever seen a razor that I like better than that one!! It is just gorgeous!!
You certainly have a number of razors that are more exotic, great etching and.spine work, beautiful custom scales and the so forth so not sure what it is about this one but it might be one of the nicest razors I have ever seen on this forum! Congrats on the long journey to finding one.. Makes it that much more special this way..
    Peace brother, Scott W
