Ah, my friend, you’re cranking up my pistons about all that rich history. I have been to that museum in London and enjoyed the rich artifacts.
Currently I am finishing my second novel. When that is done, I will proceed to finish my collection of stories on the Assyrian life. Can’t wait for this one.

Very interesting Obie. Well done too. I'm kind of envious of people who can trace their lineage to ancient times. Certainly some amazing artifacts too.

Very well done, Obie. I've always wished that I could have heard your radio shows, and now I have a little taste of what I missed. And of course, I love the lovely writing.

My question Obie is where is your beard????
Very well done.
I went to Grad School at the Univ of Chicago and my advisor had a co position in the Anthropology Dept so I spent a lot of time at the Oriental Institute and got to see the area the public can't get to. Fascinating things there. No matter how many men you kill you can't kill your successor-Emperor Nero

Very nice video Obie. I too am envious of people who can trace their family history that far back in history. I can trace my father's family to 11th century Norman France just before the Norman invasion. My mother's family I can trace to my grandparents. It is very cool to have that sense of history.

Spendur, my friend, what beard? Are you kidding me? If you can imagine how tough the Assyrian beard is, no wonder my ancestors grew it long and fancy. I shave everyday just to make up for the long beards.
Some of footage for the video was shot at the Oriental Institute in Chicago. Also, my collaborator, my cousin, had shot some in Iraq. I so enjoyed writing and narrating the videos. Good stuff.

That was one of the best video's that I have seen on the Assyrian Culture. The artifacts and history were magnificent! Thank You for sharing Obie. You should do more of these. You and your cousin make a great team!
