    Default New Frameback Aquisition

Just won this frameback on ebay.

    Marsh Brothers & Co.
    Pond Works
    Sheffield
    with Crown over V R
    1828-1852

Just needed good cleaning and honing. 3 X 7/8
    Original scales with domed washers

Took her for a test shave this morning. Smooth and close. Was going to sell her but after that shave she will replace another razor in my rotation.

Lovely razor! Enjoy it in good health. I think 75% of my razor collection consists of razors I was going to sell but ended up keeping.

Only other frameback I have is a Gilchrist. Just love the way they shave.

I think 75% is probably low for me

I really like the shave from a frameback and have three in my rotation; Joseph Rodgers & Sons, William Greaves & Sons and FW Soderen.

That's a beauty, Leonard! Reminds me a little of the Wosty frameback I bought from you (the one I was touching up in the HOTD video). I don't blame you for keeping that one!

Ah yes the classic faux frameback. It’s a beauty.
