Straights are like Doritos, ya can't have just one.
If your still young, my premonition after 30 years, your drawer should look like this.
There's so many cool styles and grinds, gotta try em all.!!
It can be relatively cheap, if you get into restoring them yourself. As many of us here, do.Last edited by outback; 05-17-2020 at 12:25 PM.

I keep my razors in this box and won’t allow for more razors than it can contain. So if I acquire a new razor I like, I will typically sell one I don’t use as much . It keeps my hoarding (collection) under control.

Dear Outback,
you left me wordless, what a wonderful sight!Unfortunately I'm not young (54 y.o.) and with only 20 wet shave with the SR under my belt I believe I'll be satisfied with just a handful of good razors...But I think I'm passing this passion on to my son (15 y.o.) who is now checking his chin every morning...
My English is elementary so I apologize in advance if on some occasion my tone should be inappropriate.

I started at the age of 17. But I kept to only one razor, till around 2015, when I was directed to this forum for insight to restoring these gems. Most of which cost only $5-15.00, at flea markets and antique shops.
P.S. that was an older pic, there's been many more added to the pile, since. They now cover from the late 1700s, to today's modern steels of Dovo and Boker.Last edited by outback; 05-17-2020 at 03:47 PM.
