Thanked: 81Etched Frederick Reynolds
Picked this up for a song the other day. It's in great shape, although the patina hides the etching. I'm not going to take the chance of ruining the etching just to get rid of the patina, I'll leave it as is, just hone it up and shave with it.
The etching reads "The Old English Gentlemans Razor / Manufactured by / Frederick Reynolds / Sheffield / Stands A No 1." It's a 6/8 wedge. The scales are a little rough, you can tell where someone filed off the pivot pin, but I can live with that.

Ahh! Frederick Reynolds.....a top quality, very fine shaving Sheffield razor that is a pain to hone but will hold an edge forever! Got a couple I won't part with.
